Job Description
Design and Development of Automotive Connectors
Perform requirement analysis focus matrix
Concept generation according to requirements
Detailing of 3D models as per requirement
Creation of development drawings manufacturing drawings and offer drawings
Preparation of technical customer documentation
Implement changes from ECR in series parts
Perform tolerance stackup and functional proof of connector assembly
Perform design calculations for various design features of connector parts
Benchmarking of connectors
Specification comparison
Mandatory skills
Knowledge on thermoplastics elastomers metals & plating materials
Knowledge on manufacturing process like molding stamping plating & Assembly processes
Knowledge on GD&T and Tolerance stackup toolUG NX & team Centre
Exposure to connector test specification / OEM specifications
Ability to interact with Cross functional teams
Problem solving & analytical capabilities
Preferred skills:
Work experience in connector industry / automotive domain is added advantage
Exposure to plastic injection molding tooling sheet metal (forming stamping) tools connector assembly tools
Experience/participation in DRBFM/focus matrix and FMEA for connector
Knowledge in project management tools like MS project & other MS office tools.
Proficient in English language. German language will be added advantage

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical
