Job Description

1. Job Summary:Responsible to monitor overall operational activities of branches of the designated segment. Implement a strong compliance culture through operational controls to achieve cost and operational efficiency. Provide support to the organizations long term plan for growth in alignment with internal/external regulatory requirements. Manage and guide the branches through a team of Regional Head Retail Banking Services (RHS) to ensure effective back office and counter services in the branch networkJob Responsibilities:Facilitate planning and design of operational functions of the assigned segment in order to align the functions with the objectives of the group and the organization. Improve systems and procedures towards operational excellence 10%Manage the activities of RHS(s) to implement standardized processes for their roles and functions through monitoring support and training on a regular basis. Asses and review their performance in managing branch operations at required standards 20%Supervise and ensure the completion of audits within reasonable time frame of External Internal and SBP auditors. Coordination with SBP with regards to inspection related matters 20%Close liaison with all relevant support groups to ensure branch issues are resolved in a timely manner. Work alongside centralized operations division quick resolution to operation related issues and to share best practices where applicable 5%Coordination with IT for system support hardware/ connectivity; coordination with GSD for all logistics related issues 5%Ensure right resources are identified for all key positions in assistance with GMs and RHS(s). Support development of staff to ensure solid success planning for the area. Team building including motivation and training of related staff members in coordination with L&D. Mentor and motivate the teams to meet the business objectives 10%Coordinate with symbol support and other relevant teams to ensure required reports & MIS are properly maintained/updated and readily available for RHS(s) and branches for review and monitoring 10%Interact with vendors for automation and process improvement initiatives 5%Interact with service quality on advice on improving service quality in branches 5%Assist Head with budgets and initiatives that need to be implemented across branch network 5%Visit branches of the assigned segment on a regular interval as necessary and provide feedback of the visit to the respective Head to make improvements and changes where necessary 5%Knowledge and Experience:Bachelors/Masters from a recognized UniversityThorough understanding of banking functions and related aspectsComprehensive knowledge of banking knowledge SBP guidelines best international practiceExperience Profile: Minimum 910 years of banking experienceBehavioral Competencies:Interpersonal and communication skillsLeadership skillsAnalytical skills;Result Oriented;Management skills (time management presentation skills)Additional Information:Number of Positions: 03Must have 9 10 years of banking experience.
