Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT  

  • Servicing endusers at the TechBar
  • Troubleshooting basic computer or account issues preventing the enduser from completing their work
  • Maintaining existing processes and requirements for tickets and reporting of issues
  • Resolving basic hardware issues troubleshooting software issues and assisting users with account limitations
  • Contribute to the operations of the IT infrastructure within the campus including but not limited to system patching cabling printer installation and maintenance as well as asset tagging and tracking.
  • Speciality projects to test skills in a work environment

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internship
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
  • Able to work 25 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday Friday)
  • Degree focusing in computer science business information systems or related field
  • Basic knowledge of computer and mobile device hardware
  • Familiarity with common software products such as: Windows 1011 MacOS IOS Microsoft Office 365 and Internet Browsers (Edge/Chrome)
  • Strong communications skills
  • Well organized and ability to work autonomously
