Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya Malaysia. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience in applying industrial engineering principles to realworld manufacturing challenges.
- Collect and analyze data from the shop floor to identify areas for process improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize production workflows and reduce waste
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve workplace ergonomics and productivity
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations
- Support the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problems
- Assist in the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various manufacturing processes
Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a detailoriented approach
- Understanding of industrial engineering principles lean manufacturing concepts and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a factory setting and conduct observations at various workstations
- Innovative mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency
- Medium to advanced English language proficiency both written and verbal
