Responsibilities:
- Lead Industrial Engineering (IE) functions and projects to achieve overall productivity and quality goals in the PJ plant.
- Establish and maintain work standards including implementing standardisation methods to increase operational efficiency.
- Conducting motion and time studies to improve operator efficiency and reduce setup times
- Optimise work and factory layout i.e. review and improve layouts for all sections and enhance storage and material handling activities to reduce waste and improve safety.
- Manage and evaluate work organisation structure. Propose and establish appropriate work organisation for the plant and streamline systems and methods by removing nonvalueadded activities.
- Plan and propose overall plant headcounts for variables and conduct manning requirements studies and reengineer utilisation as necessary.
- Prepare reports on productivity and efficiency and lead improvement activities and participate in Continental Business Team reviews.
- Organise and lead IErelated tasks. Promote and implement productivity and efficiency initiatives
- Support the Companys safety and health policy and ensure compliance with all procedures.
Qualifications :
- Relevant Tertiary education with recognized degree in industrial/ Manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proven track record of results.
- Managerial experience in a production environment is preferred.
- Knowledge in quality management systems.
- 3 years involvement in project management equivalent.
- 5 years experience in managing a small to medium group.
- Working experience with international team will be an advantage.
