Job Description
Working closely to support the production teams this role will suit someone comfortable with making proactive and largely autonomous decisions around preventative maintenance resolving break downs to general sites repairs and improvement projects. Ultimately though your expertise will keep things moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and basic servicing to keep machinery running smoothly
- Identify and fix mechanical issues quickly to reduce downtime
- Support the installation of new equipment and upgrades
- Track spare parts and maintain maintenance logs
- Assist with machine setup and adjustments to improve efficiency
- Handson safetyconscious approach to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Qualifications :
What we are looking for:
- A proven Maintenance Technician with a varied background in maintaining and optimising machinery or someone post qualification with the skills to take on the responsibility of site maintenance.
- Ability to deal with daytoday break downs such as mechanical failure hydraulic & pneumatic problems motors gearboxes pumps and sensors etc.
- Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills with the ability to get things running again
- Strong work ethic with the ability to engage and communicate across the business along with external contractors (electrical machinists hydraulics hardware suppliers etc)
- Someone whos organised structured and driven to allow the production teams to get the most out of the plant and equipment.
