At Ingram our Library Services teams curate titles and shelfready services for a wide range of libraries from small and rural libraries to multibranch urban library systems. Required Qualifications:
- MLS/MLIS or directly related year for year experience
- 3 years original cataloging experience at the professional or paraprofessional level in a library or library vendor setting
- 1 year work experience using an integrated library system
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of RDA and AACR2 cataloging standards LCSH LC Dewey classification schedules and MARC21/OCLC formats
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Selfstarter with a proactive approach to problemsolving and task management
Key Responsibilities:
- Catalogs materials in all formats in accordance with national and international standards and local requirements
- Suggests improvements to workflow and enhancements to policies and standards for new materials and cataloging accounts.
- Assists paraprofessionals with training and issues of quality and accuracy.
- Stays informed of changes to bibliographic standards and policies including those specific to Ingrams proprietary databases.
- Meets production and quality goals and adheres to deadlines in a fastpaced teamoriented work environment.
Hiring Salary Range: $57155k $71232k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicants education experience knowledge skills and abilities geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
