Floor Supervisor
This position is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas on assigned floors. This role ensures that all housekeeping team members adhere to the hotel's standards of excellence, providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certification is a plus.
Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with at least 3years in a supervisory position.
Supervisory andteam management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Staff Management and Supervision
Supervising Floor Staff: Oversee and manage the performance of floor staff, including waitstaff, cashiers, retail assistants, or other front-of-house employees. Ensure that they are performing their duties according to the company’s standards.
Staff Training and Development: Train new employees and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing staff. Ensure that they understand their responsibilities and are following procedures and guidelines.
Shift Management: Allocate and organize staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient service delivery during busy periods. Address any last-minute scheduling conflicts or staffing needs.
