This position is responsible to welcome and greet our guests in line with our company standards. Assist the guests with their luggage, respond to inquiries, and upsell our products and services.
Greet and welcome guests at the main entrance.
Assist in driveway management.
Assist arrivalsand departing guests by opening and closing car and taxi doors.
Maintain a clean and tidy entrance and baggage room.
Ensure timely pick up and deliveries pertaining to baggage handling.
Provide information and/or assistance to guests as and when required.
Remember individual guest’s names especially repeat and long staying guests.
Greet guests as they pass through the lobby to extend a personalized service.
Ensure all job assignments are properly logged in respective logbooks. Use the Duty Log to document matters of importance.
Alert Security or Duty Manager of suspicious looking person(s) / articles.
Assisting Guests with Luggage
Receiving Luggage: Greet guests upon arrival, help them with their luggage, and transport it to their rooms or designated areas. Ensure that luggage is handled carefully and stored securely.
Transporting Luggage: Safely carry, load, and unload luggage from vehicles, luggage carts, or storage areas. Assist guests in moving their belongings to and from rooms or other areas on the property.
Handling Special Requests: Assist with any special luggage-related requests, such as carrying oversized or fragile items or helping guests organize their luggage.
Room Delivery and Pickup: Deliver luggage to guests' rooms and collect luggage when guests check out. Ensure items are delivered in a timely manner and left in the correct room.
Secondary / High school education
Previous experience in a similar capacity
Good reading and oral proficiency in English language
Ability to speak Russian language is preferred
Providing Excellent Customer Service
Greeting Guests: Welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor as they arrive and offer assistance with luggage. Serve as an initial point of contact, creating a positive first impression of the hotel or venue.
Offering Information: Provide guests with information about the property, including the location of amenities, services, dining options, or the schedule of events.
Handling Inquiries: Respond to guest inquiries regarding luggage storage, check-in/check-out procedures, or transportation services, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
Managing Luggage Storage
Storing Luggage: Safely store guests' luggage before or after check-in and check-out in a designated luggage storage area. Label and track stored items to ensure they are returned to the correct guest.
Ensuring Security: Maintain the security of guests' luggage in the storage area, ensuring it is properly locked or securely stored to prevent loss or theft.
Managing Lost Items: Help track and locate lost luggage or belongings. Assist in returning any found items to guests in a timely and secure manner.
