Job Description
Manage a team of Luxury Bag Appraisers within the Luxury team.
Drive supply acquisition and authentication of luxury bags with a systematic disciplined approach towards item acquisition at profitable pricing.
Keep abreast of market pricing trends and maintain a robust pricing framework for bag acquisition in the form of a pricing bible.
Adopt a systematic and disciplined approach towards pricing reductions to move aged inventory.
Manage endtoend verification and authentication process.
Carry out negotiations with sellers for inventory acquisition.
Carry out quality control and checks for incoming inventory items.
Conduct research on new model releases to help build our knowledge bank.
Maintain our authentication bible and conduct regular product training to ensure the team is knowledgeable in identifying counterfeit products.
Maintain proper documentation of QC and authentication assessment notes.
Assist with adhoc projects within the Operations Team.
Work closely with crossfunctional partners including Logistics and Operations teams.
Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experience handling and authenticating luxury goods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to the fastpaced startup environment and to process new information on the go
Meticulous detailoriented and process driven
Highly organised
Have a positive cando attitude and good problemsolving skills
Good team player with initiative but also able to work independently to drive desired outcomes
