Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Safety Manager to join our team in Charleston SC. As a Safety Manager you will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and contractors.
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to establish a culture of safety
- Design and implement effective safety programs safety plans and job hazard analyses (JHA)
- Conduct regular safety audits inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions
- Lead safety meetings and training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and OSHA regulations
- Monitor safety compliance and report safety issues and progress to upper management
- Investigate accidents nearmisses and safety incidents implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to integrate safety protocols into all aspects of operations
- Maintain accurate safety records logs and documentation as required by company policy and regulatory agencies
- Oversee the safety performance of subcontractors and contractors onsite
- Stay current with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices updating company policies accordingly
Qualifications :
BCSP Certification (STSC or Higher)
OSHA 510 hour
First Aid Narcan Bloodborne Pathogens CPR and AED training
Emergency procedures training
