Position: Sr. Data Quality Consultant
Location: Fully remote
Structure: Contract 6 months to start possible extension)
Rates: Up to $95.00 p/h CAD

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Quality Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a data quality framework and strategy across multiple data domains within the bank.
- Process Design: Develop and optimize data quality processes tools and best practices for monitoring evaluating and improving data integrity.
- Collibra Utilization: Leverage Collibra to streamline data governance and data quality efforts ensuring the platform is used effectively for data stewardship data cataloging and data quality monitoring.
- Data Governance: Collaborate with Data Governance and other stakeholders to establish policies and procedures ensuring data meets the highest standards of quality.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to understand their data quality requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement a continuous improvement model for data quality across the organization including defining KPIs metrics and performance standards.
- Tools and Technology: Evaluate and recommend additional data quality tools and technologies to enhance data accuracy and reliability alongside Collibra.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and business users on data quality best practices.
- Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports to track data quality performance issues and improvements over time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Quality Consultant or in a similar data governance or data management role.
- Strong experience in banking or financial services with knowledge of the industrys data quality challenges and requirements.
- Indepth knowledge of data quality frameworks tools and methodologies.
- Experience with Collibra for data governance data cataloging and data quality management.
- Experience in building and managing a Data Quality Practice or similar data governance functions.
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Information Systems Engineering etc..
- Certifications in Data Quality or Data Governance (e.g. CDMP DAMA etc. are a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and how they apply to data quality initiatives.
- Experience with advanced analytics and big data environments.
