Job Summary
The Director of Communications works with firm leadership to develop and implement resultsdriven
strategies to raise the visibility of the firm its practices and its lawyers as well as manage and enhance
the public profile of the firm.
Key Priorities
The Director is responsible for:
Reporting Lines
The Director reports to the Chief Marketing Officer with oversight from the Chair of the Management
Board Chair of the Executive Committee Chief Operating Officer and the General Counsel.
The Director manages a team of four PR professionals across the Northeast and Midwest and provides
direction and oversight of the firms strategic PR agency relationships in the U.S. and abroad.

Education & Experience
The position requires a Bachelors Degree preferably in communications public relations journalism or
a related field.
The position requires a minimum of fifteen 15 years of relevant experience with a record of leadership
achievement and management acumen.
Law firm or legalrelated experience is highly preferred. Public relations agency and/or journalism
experience desirable.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $215000 $283000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location market data an applicants skills and prior experience certain degrees and certifications and other factors.
