Job Description
- Backend Development: Design implement and maintain Javabased backend services APIs and microservices to support the functionality and features of our applications.
- Database Design and Optimisation: Create efficient and scalable database schemas write complex SQL queries and optimise database performance for fast and reliable data access.
- API Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers and other teams to define API contracts integrate thirdparty APIs and ensure seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems.
- Code Quality and Testing: Write clean welldocumented and testable code following best practices and coding standards. Develop unit tests integration tests and automated test suites to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Performance Optimisation: Identify performance bottlenecks troubleshoot issues and optimise backend systems for improved response times and resource utilisation.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to safeguard user data and protect against potential vulnerabilities. Stay uptodate with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements provide technical insights and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
- Code Reviews: Participate in and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality identify issues and mentor fellow engineers.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest technologies tools and trends in Java backend development. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and product excellence.
