ProSidian Seeks a Civil Structural Analyst Engineering (DS108 Engagement Team Senior Consultant Labor Hour Subcontract located Savannah River Site / Aiken South Carolina supporting a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation SRMC) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken SC which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Seeking Civil Structural Analyst candidates DS108.  This as a Labor Hour Subcontract or Contract W2 (IRS1099 Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a FullTime ProSidian employed W2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Civil Structural Analyst (DS108 at Savannah River Site / Aiken South Carolina

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Civil Structural Analyst Engineering (DS108

Perform advanced structural analyses of various structures to validate their design adequacy for normal operation and accident loading conditions. Advanced structural analytical capabilities include the ability to perform the following: Seismic SoilStructure Interaction (SSI); dynamic seismic analysis (response spectra and timehistory); development of instructure seismic response spectra and to evaluate structural responses for tornado winds missile penetration precipitation (rain flood snow) and explosion (blast/detonation and deflagration).

Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.

Qualifications :

Desired Qualifications For Civil Structural Analyst Engineering (DS108 DS108 Candidates:

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

MS Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or BS Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and current registration as a Professional Engineer in either Civil or Structural Engineering.

Skills Required

Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of eight 8 years experience in the design and analysis of nuclear or industrial facilities. Candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of STAAD ANSYS ABAQUS SASSI DYNA3D or similar computer codes. Candidate must demonstrate a sound working knowledge of National Codes and Standards such as IBC AISC (ASD LRFD & N690 ASCE ACI 318 & 349. Candidate must have the ability to perform field walk downs of structural systems.

Work Hours: A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s 8 hours/day; five days per week) 4/l0s 10 hours/day; four days per week) and a 9/80s 9 hours/day fives days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays.

Each work day has a 30minute lunch.
