Job description:
- Planning cargo transportation (using the TMS system)
- Monitoring shipments and intervening in case of delays
- Constant communication with carriers customer service and terminals
- Controlling and optimizing transportation costs
Our requirements:
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- High flexibility and reliability
- Communicative knowledge of English both spoken and written (knowledge of Dutch its preferred)
- Familiarity with the geography of Europe (especially the Benelux and Germany) is a plus
- Experience in the logistics industry especially in freight forwarding/multimodal transport is an additional asset
