The Security & Loss Prevention Area Manager is responsible for safeguarding the tangible and intangible assets of Audemars Piguet. This fieldbased role oversees security and loss prevention operations across the Los Angeles market and works closely with internal teams to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and employees. The role involves policy compliance risk mitigation training and security technology management reporting directly to the Security Operations Risk & Loss Prevention Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as an onsite security agent in a retail location at least two days per week completing operational and administrative duties at other retail locations on remaining workdays.
- Prescreen and validate security personnel in coordination with retail leadership.
- Manage security guard concerns in partnership with retail leadership and vendor(s).
- Conduct security and safety awareness training for employees and security personnel.
- Implement and oversee Loss Prevention programs and policies in retail locations ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with business partners to integrate security and loss prevention measures into daily operations.
- Perform audits and routine security checks including inventory counts security equipment assessments and loss prevention protocols.
- Ensure all security personnel have appropriate credentials and training.
- Provide recommendations and solutions for crisis situations including workplace violence protests and demonstrations.
- Assist with internal and external investigations as needed.
- Evaluate and enhance security policies procedures and protocols.
- Support and manage security activities for onsite and offsite events.
- Assist in emergency response planning and contingency strategies.
- Act as a liaison with law enforcement and external agencies on security matters.
- Partner with the Security department and management to execute departmentwide projects.
- Assist in managing security aspects of store openings remodels projects and maintenance.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security management within a similarsized site ideally in a luxury or highprecision environment (e.g. watchmaking or jewelry).
- Expertise in developing and implementing safety plans with clear communication strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in delivering security training and presentations.
- Advanced knowledge of CCTV systems burglar alarms and card access systems.
- Proficiency in vendor management project and delivering strategic security roadmaps.
- Proven ability to implement and manage loss prevention fraud prevention and security investigations.
- Selfmotivated adaptable and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional client service skills maintaining a high level of professionalism with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to maintain consistency in security standards exercise sound judgment and adhere to company policies.
- Experience managing technical risks and analyzing data to optimize security performance.
Additional Information :
Audemars Piguet offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The salary range for this position is $100k $120k annual. This role is eligible for bonus. Salary will be based on relevant skills and experience.
