Senior Identity and Access Management IAM Engineer

As a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer you will be a key technical person responsible for designing implementing and maintaining IAM solutions that support the security and efficiency of workplace operations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure IAM systems align with business needs security policies and regulatory requirements. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft technologies and other IAM solutions in hybrid and cloud environments. 

Key Responsibilities:

IAM Strategy and Implementation: You will design develop and maintain IAM solutions using Microsoft Azure AD Microsoft Entra ID and other identity management tools ensuring they align with business needs and regulatory standards.

Operations and Support: You will own troubleshoot and resolve complex IAMrelated incidents monitor IAM systems for performance and security compliance and collaborate with various teams to align IAM solutions with business objectives.

Security Compliance and Risk Management: You will ensure IAM solutions align with Zero Trust and need to know principles implement IAM security frameworks conduct risk assessments and drive identity governance initiatives.

People and Collaboration: You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to more junior IAM engineers conduct technical interviews work closely with Chapter Stream Leads and Career Coaches and actively participate in knowledgesharing sessions and community events.

Qualifications :

Must have:

• 5 years of experience in IAM engineering architecture or security operations. 

• Expertise in Microsoft Identity & Access Management solutions including Azure AD Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. 

• Strong understanding of IAM security concepts including SSO MFA RBAC PAM and IAM lifecycle management.  

• Handson experience with IAM protocols such as SAML OAuth OpenID Connect SCIM and LDAP. 

• Experience implementing IAM in cloudbased environments such as Azure AWS or GCP. 

• Familiarity with CyberArk PIM ServiceNow and SIEM tools is beneficial. 

• Strong knowledge of IAM compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR ISO 27001 HIPAA PCIDSS). 

• Handson experience with PowerShell Python or Java for IAM automation and scripting. 

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Strong English language skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta SailPoint CyberArk PingIdentity Savyint is a plus.

• Relevant M365 and IAM certifications are a plus.
