Job Description

The School of Professional Studies seeks experienced industry professionals to serve as parttime Lecturer for a graduatelevel course in Mathematics for AI. This course equips students with essential mathematical foundations for understanding and working with artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. By the end of this course students will possess a strong mathematical toolkit to confidently tackle the complexities of modern AI algorithms.

Responsibilities


Qualifications :

Columbia University SPS operates under a scholarpractitioner faculty model which enables students to learn from faculty possessing outstanding academic training and a record of accomplishment as practitioners in an applied industry setting. 

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in a quantitative disciplinary area

  • Proficiency with programming Python in a Jupyter notebook

  • 3 years of professional experience in a related area

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 10 years of related professional experience.

  • 2 years of University teaching experience ideally at the graduate level.


Additional Information :

Salary: $13374.98 per semesterlength course
