You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Kids Club Attendant helps in planning and implementing the daily activities for children, helps with safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and the Kids Club.
Treat each child with dignity and respect.
Recognizes and considers the individual needs of each child.
Checks medical condition as written in the registration form.
Helps children learn to think creatively and respect themselves and others.
Open and prepare Kids Club for daily activities.
Responsible for the opening and closing of the Kids Club
Assist in planning and implementing the daily program for children.
Works to prevent injuries and accidents and handles them appropriately if they occur.
Dress kids as needed and change diapers.
Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the Kids Club area.
Sanitize toys and play equipment.
Interact with the children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed as needed within the day.
Follow kids club Operation Childcare Standards, Policies procedures, and Health guidelines.
Performs other related duties as requested by the Supervisor.
Supervision and Safety
Child Supervision: Monitor children to ensure they are safe, happy, and participating in activities while keeping a close eye on their well-being.
Safety Awareness: Enforce safety rules and guidelines to ensure children’s physical and emotional safety during activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any accidents, emergencies, or incidents. Be prepared to administer basic first aid and ensure all children are promptly attended to in case of a medical emergency.
Headcounts: Regularly check and confirm the number of children in the group to ensure all are accounted for.
College DegreeinGeneral Education, Education, Early Childhood Education, Management, Communications, Teaching, Hospitality and Tourism Management
Basic computer skills
Good proficiency in the English language and additional language is an advantage
Previous work experience in similar capacity or Hospitality would be an advantage
Child Development Knowledge: Understanding of child development principles and the ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities for different age groups.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with children, parents, and team members effectively.
Patience and Flexibility: The ability to remain calm and patient, even in challenging situations, while being flexible in responding to children’s needs or unexpected changes in the schedule.
Teamwork: Ability to work well with other staff members and contribute to a positive, cooperative working environment.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations or conflicts among children in a calm and constructive manner.
