About the Psychology Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our highachieving Social Sciences department. The successful Psychology Teacher will have the opportunity to teach A Level Psychology inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for this fascinating subject.
Key Responsibilities of the Psychology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver highquality Psychology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Psychology concepts and develop their critical thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and departmental resources.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Psychology and incorporate new research and theories into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Psychology teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Psychology and A Level exam specifications.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Psychology and a commitment to inspiring students.
