Job Description

Location: Islington London
Start Date: April 2025
Contract Type: Fulltime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS

Your Role:
As a Year 1 teacher youll support students as they transition from Reception into more structured learning. You will deliver engaging lessons in literacy numeracy and foundation subjects while helping children develop independence confidence and social skills. Your role will be focused on building strong foundations in reading writing and mathematics while also nurturing a love for learning and fostering creativity.

What We Need:

  • QTS with experience in Key Stage 1
  • A creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and classroom management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with students parents and staff
  • A passion for early childhood education and student development
