Job Description
Location: Cracow Poland (Primarily remote with occasional inoffice work)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Background Verification Specialist to support the personnel security background screening process for our clients. This role involves managing sensitive employee data and ensuring compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the CJIS background screening and credentialing process including the collection verification and entry of personal information for employees.
- Maintain accurate records in the CJIS Manager software and ensure compliance with federal state and local security protocols.
- Communicate with employees and supervisors to gather necessary documents and information for background checks.
- Perform data entry tasks and track the status of employee background screenings.
- Support audits and reporting related to CJIS compliance and employee status changes.
- Ensure that all sensitive information is handled securely and in accordance with established privacy protocols.
- Provide guidance to employees on fingerprinting and document submission for background checks.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with background verification compliance or data entry is a plus.
- Proficient in English both written and spoken.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred.
Work Environment:
The role is primarily remote with the possibility of occasional inoffice work. You will be part of a collaborative fastpaced team and will be expected to maintain a professional and secure work environment.
