You will be part of the Mobile Product design and development team working in different phases of product development to create the best possible user experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Architect to lead the design and development of our Androidbased mobile handsets powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Android framework Qualcomm chipset architecture device bringup hardware abstraction layers (HALs) sensor integration and Android application development. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our Android platform and ensuring the delivery of highperformance robust and innovative mobile products.

Responsibilities :

Platform Architecture & Design:

Define and maintain the overall Android platform architecture for Qualcomm Snapdragonbased mobile handsets.

Lead the design and implementation of systemlevel software including the Android framework HALs and device drivers.

Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks to optimize performance power consumption and stability.

Qualcomm Snapdragon Expertise:

Lead chipset bringup activities including kernel configuration and device tree customization.

Deep understanding of Qualcomm Snapdragon architecture including CPU GPU DSP and modem subsystems.

Optimize device performance and power consumption through effective utilization of Qualcomm Snapdragon features.

Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) Development:

Design and implement Android HALs for various hardware components including sensors cameras audio and display.

Ensure seamless integration between hardware and software layers.

Troubleshoot and resolve HALrelated issues.

Sensor Integration & BringUp:

Lead the integration and bringup of various sensors including accelerometers gyroscopes magnetometers and proximity sensors.

Develop and optimize sensor drivers and algorithms.

Ensure accurate and reliable sensor data acquisition.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Android development team.

Collaborate with hardware engineers software engineers and product managers to define and deliver product requirements.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Stay up to date with the newest Android and Qualcomm technologies.

Debugging and Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot complex issues related to Android platform HAL and device drivers.

Utilize debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and stability issues.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Extensive experience1 in Android platform development with a strong focus on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.

Proven expertise in chipset bringup device tree configuration and kernel customization.

Deep understanding of Android HAL architecture and development.

Strong experience in sensor integration and bringup.

Proficient in C C and Java programming languages.

Experience with Android app development and optimization.

Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with Android testing frameworks.

Experience with working with embedded systems.

Experience with Android security and privacy features.

Experience with embedded Android platforms.

Experience with Linux kernel development.

Experience with working directly with Qualcomm
