Responsibilities:
Youll be at the forefront of our financial strategy responsible for scrutinizing dissecting and evaluating every aspect of our financial and accounting operations. Your role goes beyond mere numbercrunching; youll be the architect of the financial future providing strategic insights and invaluable guidance to propel our business forward.

Financial Strategy and amp; Reporting
- Drive financial planning budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare detailed financial reports to support executive decisionmaking.
- Track key financial metrics identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement automation to streamline reporting and analysis.
Accounting and amp; Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee daily accounting functions (AP AR payroll reconciliations).
- Ensure adherence to GAAP tax laws and company policies.
- Manage yearend closing tax filings and external audits.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and enhance financial processes.
Contract Oversight and amp; Risk Management
- Maintain and review company contracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor contract renewals expirations and financial commitments.
- Ensure agreements align with business goals and financial objectives.
Strategic Partnerships and amp; Negotiations
- Lead financial negotiations and structuring of business agreements.
- Develop financial models to evaluate potential partnerships.
- Represent the company in highlevel financial discussions.
Business Expansion and amp; Technology Integration
- Provide financial analysis for new initiatives and market expansion.
- Support the adoption of AI and automation in financial operations.
- Build financial models for product launches and strategic investments.
Leadership and amp; Process Optimization
- Partner with department heads to align finance with business strategy.
- Oversee financial system upgrades from QuickBooks to a scalable ERP.
- Enhance financial decisionmaking through datadriven insights.
1 Year success criteria:
- Business acumen and operational soundness is needed in this role. If the organization has achieved cost savings and revenue growth as a direct result of your insights advice and leadership that would be seen as a very successful year.
What We Need From You:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration.
- 5 years of management experience in finance FP and amp;A or financial operations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to drive financial
- decisionmaking.
- Experience with business contract management particularly revenue contracts.
- Proficiency in Excel financial modelling and financial management systems.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present financial insights to external partners.
- Experience in negotiating and structuring financial partnerships with noncore
- business partners.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and technology enhancements.
Preferred:
- CPA Designated MBA or CFA (bonus)
- Experience in EdTech SaaS or tech industries.
- Exposure to AIdriven financial tools and data analytics.
- Previous experience leading financial systems upgrade.
- Experience in supporting mergers acquisitions or strategic partnerships is plus
Compensation and amp; Package:
- Base: Up to $125 k (negotiable base) they are open to seeing salaries at all level as long as you can justify
- Bonus: individual and corporate performance drive
- Benefits: Covered 100 for individual dependants requires some contribution
- Vacation: up to 3 weeks last week of December and first week of January full off
