Roles and responsibilities

JASARA PMC is looking for a skilled Architecture Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to various architectural projects, ensuring that design concepts are transformed into practical, functional, and sustainable structures. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include preparing architectural plans and specifications, conducting site evaluations, and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. You will also assist in the creation of detailed design documentation and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase.

Design and Planning
Structural Design: Design and integrate the structural components of a building or infrastructure, ensuring the safety and stability of the design.
Building Systems Design: Work on the design of building systems such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems, making sure they are well-integrated into the overall structure.
Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient designs and sustainable building practices, such as passive solar design, energy-efficient HVAC systems, and renewable energy systems.
Collaboration with Architects: Work closely with architects to ensure that the engineering aspects of the building align with architectural aesthetics, function, and space planning.
Structural Analysis and Calculations
Load Analysis: Perform calculations to determine the loads (weight, wind, seismic, etc. a building must withstand, ensuring that the structure is strong enough to support these forces.
Material Selection: Select appropriate building materials based on strength, durability, cost, and environmental considerations.
Building Codes Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with local, regional, and national building codes and standards, including safety, accessibility, and environmental regulations.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design
Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Ability to produce and interpret detailed architectural drawings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in the Mid Project Coordination and Management
Collaborate with Other Engineers: Work with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure that all building systems are properly integrated.
Project Oversight: Oversee the construction phase of projects to ensure that engineering designs are being implemented correctly and that construction is progressing according to plan.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that construction materials, methods, and practices meet specified standards and that any issues are addressed promptly during the construction process.
. Building Systems Integration
HVAC Systems: Design and integrate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure comfort, air quality, and energy efficiency.
Electrical and Lighting Systems: Design electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and wiring, to meet the needs of the building’s occupants and comply with safety standards.
Plumbing Systems: Plan and design plumbing systems to ensure the efficient distribution of water and the removal of waste.
Fire Protection Systems: Design fire safety systems such as sprinklers, alarms, and emergency exits to comply with safety standards.
