Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

JASARA PMC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Admin (Health, Safety, and Environment Administrator) to support our HSE team in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. As an HSE Admin, you will assist in the implementation of health and safety policies, ensure proper documentation and record-keeping, and help facilitate HSE training and awareness programs. You will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include managing HSE documentation, tracking incidents, maintaining records, and coordinating training sessions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintain Safety Records: Ensure all safety and environmental compliance documents are filed and organized, including incident reports, safety audits, inspection reports, and employee safety training records.
HSE Reports: Prepare and maintain regular reports on HSE activities, such as injury/accident reports, safety performance, and environmental compliance.
Compliance Documentation: Ensure all documentation complies with local, state, and federal regulations. This includes preparing and submitting reports to regulatory agencies as required.
Training Records: Keep track of employees' safety training certifications and ensure that records are up-to-date.
Assisting with Safety Procedures
Support Safety Procedures: Help in the development and implementation of safety procedures, policies, and programs in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Safety Inspections: Assist in scheduling and organizing safety inspections and audits for various work sites, ensuring that checklists are completed and reports are filed accordingly.
Incident Management: Help in the documentation and reporting of workplace incidents and accidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (such as OSHA in the U.S..
HSE Compliance
Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Monitor changes in health, safety, and environmental regulations and assist the team in ensuring the organization complies with new laws.
Assist with Audits and Inspections: Support the team in preparing for internal and external audits and inspections, ensuring all necessary documents are available and organized for review.
Follow-Up on Corrective Actions: Assist in tracking corrective actions and resolutions following safety audits, inspections, or accident investigations.


Desired candidate profile


Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in HSE administration or support roles
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HSE management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of HSE regulations and safety practices is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to tasks
HSE Communication and Coordination
Employee Safety Communication: Communicate and distribute HSE guidelines, policies, and safety alerts to employees. Assist in organizing safety meetings, drills, and training sessions.
HSE Training Coordination: Schedule and coordinate safety training sessions for employees, ensuring that they are aware of company safety policies and industry regulations.
Liaison with Stakeholders: Serve as a point of contact between the HSE department and other internal departments, contractors, or external regulatory bodies.
Inventory and Equipment Management
Safety Equipment Management: Assist in tracking and managing the inventory of safety equipment (e.g., PPE, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits), ensuring that equipment is in good condition and replaced as necessary.
Order Supplies: Help with ordering safety supplies and maintaining an adequate stock for the workplace.
