The consumer goods industry is worth $3 trillion globally but is still heavily challenged by a lack of transparency inefficient collaboration and data flows which ultimately slows down the pace of innovation and therefore the amount of sustainable products being launched in the market.

Tasks
Your role in our growing hungry and highly motivated team is vital. You will be instrumental in translating business requirements into technical solutions thereby contributing to our platforms overall success and growth and ultimately the transformation of the consumer goods industry.
In this position you will:
- Support the companys growth: Preparing and evolving our processes and code base to accommodate more traffic and clients.
- Enhance Services: Improve existing backend and frontend services by writing maintainable code refactoring as needed and implementing new features to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management: Work with the product management team to understand requirements provide technical insights and ensure efficient development processes.
- Contribute to Development and Best Practices: Actively engage in the development process conduct code reviews and uphold best practices in code quality testing and deployment. Your contributions will help maintain high standards across the development lifecycle.
- Innovate and Improve: Continuously seek out and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance our code base.
Requirements
We are looking for team players who want to make a difference a strong sense of accountability and the ability to easily adapt to the curve balls of startup life.
Skills and Experience
- Education: Computer Science degree or similar
- 3 experience in the SaaS product or marketplace field
- Proven track record as backend developer
- Experience with Java REST API Spring and Relational databases
- Bonus if you have experience with NoSQL databases particularly Elasticsearch
- Bonus if previously exposed to startup and scaleup environments

Location
- Based in or willing to relocate to Portugal
- Bonus if you are within a comfortable commute distance from Lisbon
