Role Overview:
As a PartQualified Audit Senior or SemiSenior you ll be working closely with an Audit Manager and have the opportunity to take ownership of audits from planning through to completion. You ll manage the progress of audits review the work of junior colleagues and provide guidance to help them grow. You ll use a variety of technological tools to deliver highquality service while collaborating with your wider team to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and assisting with their development.
- Maintaining client relationships and ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget.
- Working across remote and clientsite engagements.
- Providing support to clients and colleagues with your expertise in audit.
Requirements
What We re Looking For:
- You ll be AAT qualified or working towards your ACA/ACCA qualification with at least 18 months of experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice.
- Experience in leading external audit assignments under International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Strong technical knowledge of preparing accounts under UK GAAP.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Excellent communication skills for working with senior staff and clients.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of Caseware software and Mercia audit methodologies is a bonus but not essential.
