Our antitrust teams work together to solve multinational antitrust issues considering the interplay between different practices and rules and always mindful of the practical implications antitrust issues may have on our clients business.
Who you will work with
The work covered by our Antitrust Group includes advice on a broad range of antitrust and sector specific regulatory matters often with a crossborder dimension. Our Antitrust and Regulatory lawyers work on behalf of our clients on market/sector investigations enforcement matters and mergers requiring clearance from competition and other regulatory authorities.
We advise on market leading mandates across the full range of contentious and noncontentious domestic and cross border antitrust matters. Our global team obtains clearances for our clients in the worlds most challenging merger control proceedings acts on the most significant dominance cases and represents clients on complex multijurisdictional cartels. We also help our clients to avoid antitrust issues by developing and implementing sophisticated compliance programs and we are at the forefront of state aid cases in Europe as well as the control of subsidies in the UK.

What you will be responsible for
As an Antitrust Lawyer you will be working across a wide range of sectors including technology consumer goods and retail financial services energy and infrastructure transport telecommunications and media.
You will advise on a range of matters including:
Qualifications :
Your career experience so far
You will have strong proven working knowledge across all areas of competition law sector specific regulation and public policy as a midlevel lawyer probably gained at a city firm or at an overseas common law practice with a highly regarded profile.
In all cases you will have an outstanding academic history and proven first rate legal skills combined with a strong reputation amongst existing clients for providing commercial solutions excellent transactional and managements skills and be recognised as a lawyer that is sought out by existing clients.
You will naturally be able to demonstrate excellent document drafting skills. You should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills along with a high level of commercial awareness.
You will need to demonstrate that you can thrive in a team with high professional standards and a flexible clientfriendly commercial approach. You will have had strong exposure of collaborating with multijurisdictional and multidisciplinary teams.
It is crucial that you can demonstrate an appetite for business development client relationship management and thought leadership.
