Were looking for a passionate proactive leader to take charge as our Accommodation Manager. In this essential role youll be at the heart of creating a supportive and welcoming environment for key staff and students ensuring their accommodation needs are met efficiently and effectively.

As a vital member of our Corporate Services Estates and Facilities team your work will directly support our Trusts recruitment and retention efforts helping to attract and retain the talent that powers our healthcare services. About the Role

As part of the Corporate Services Estates and Facilities team delivering services across both the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust you will:

  • Manage residential accommodation to ensure maximum efficiency availability and accessibility.
  • Provide advice and guidance to prospective and existing tenants on a variety of accommodation issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including HR Facilities Management and Security to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to tenants.
  • Manage accommodation finances including rent collection invoicing and purchasing.
  • Lead by example with onsite visibility and leadership fostering a supportive and effective working environment.

Qualifications :

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) and knowledge of MS Office applications.

Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in the health service or a related field with a proven track record in accommodation management.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational abilities attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to manage data and prepare reports.

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with accommodation management services including booking systems tenant management and maintenance coordination.
