Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

JASARA PMC is looking for a dedicated Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Specialist to manage our HRIS implementations and ensure the sustainability of our human resource programs. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the HR Information System, from maintaining accurate employee records to generating analytical reports that inform HR strategies and decisions. As part of our team, you'll be at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance our HR processes and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Administer and respond to issues related to the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and system performance
Collaborate with HR and IT teams to design, configure, and implement enhancements to the HRIS
Perform regular audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor regulations
Generate reports and analytics to support workforce planning and data-driven decision-making
Facilitate training sessions for HR staff and employees on HRIS functionalities and best practices
Maintain documentation of system processes and procedures for HRIS users
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and apply creative solutions to advance HRIS capabilities
Employee Data Management:

Centralized Database: The HRIS stores comprehensive employee records, including personal information, job history, educational background, performance evaluations, compensation details, and benefits enrollment.
Data Accuracy & Security: Ensures that employee data is accurate, up-to-date, and secure. It allows HR departments to maintain privacy and confidentiality in compliance with legal requirements.
Payroll Management:

Salary and Compensation: Automates payroll processing, ensuring that employees are paid on time, with accurate calculations for salary, overtime, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
Tax Compliance: Helps to manage tax calculations, tax reporting, and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.


Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience managing HRIS or similar systems
  • Proficient in various HR software applications, with a preference for experience in SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve HR strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset with the capability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Familiarity with HR processes and compliance regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage
