About the English Teacher Position
We are seeking an outstanding English Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach English across Key Stages 35 inspiring students with a love of literature and language.
As an English Teacher you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to explore English and develop their critical thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in English providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of English teaching.
- Instil a love of reading and writing in our students.
The Ideal English Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for English and a commitment to inspiring students.
