Dynamic 365 Project Operations & Power Apps Consultant
Location: Houston TX
Summary:
As a Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Apps Consultant you are considered a Solution Specialist and have indepth knowledge of D365 Project Operations and the Power Platform. You are energetic and passionate about Dynamics 365 Project Operations and the Power Platform and how they can be used to solve complex business problems. You have indepth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Project Operations in the utility industry.
You will lead project implementation teams and provide architecture guidance and direction leveraging your deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute across all phases of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Cloud (e.g. Plan Analyze Design Build and Test).
- Leverage technical expertise to design and build solutions for energy sector clients. You will be required to be handson with Microsoft Cloud for Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform.
- Liaise effectively between clients internal team members and thirdparty vendors to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
- Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Design and build appropriate solutions leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem and thirdparty applications available to Utility or Energy.
- Analyze understand and map client data from legacy systems to the Common Data Model and the clients solutionspecific data model.
- Work under general guidance and direction but fully independent in own work with latitude for autonomous decisionmaking related to work processes.
- Mentor peers and lead by example both within projects and through internal professional development opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding of common energy and utility standard business practices supported by the Microsoft Cloud for Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform.
- Experience in Dynamics 365 Project Operations Power Platform (PowerApps Portal Canvas and Model Driven Apps Power Automate) and Common Data Service.
- Experience in Configuration and Customization of Dynamics 365 Project Operations (Plugins JavaScript Logic Apps Azure Functions) Web API and SSIS.
- DevOps with Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
- Familiar with the core Microsoft offerings.
- Proposal Writing Product Demonstration and Presentations.
- Consulting experience working with Utility or Energy clients of all sizes including enterprise clients.
- Demonstrated experience leading workshops at various project implementation phases to collaborate and lead the client to timely decisionmaking that will ensure a successful implementation project.
- Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan.
- Implementation experience in the Utility or Energy sector.
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to work across multiple large complex and/or highpriority projects and consistently meet project deadlines project priorities and client requirements.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Java Application servers like Oracle WebLogic Apache or IBM WebSphere.
- Understanding of Internet technologies like HTML XML WSDL scripting languages.
- Understanding of Cloud Technology and Solutions.
- Utility Industry knowledge.
