Job Description

We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team at our Appleton Thorn site. 
Due to the location of our site you will need to drive to get to and from.

As Management Accountant you will support the central finance department in a variety of tasks such as journal posting and month end reconciliations as well as business partnering cost centre owners and furthering their finance knowledge and education in a 600m business.

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.

Job responsibilities of Management Accountant include:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare the financial reporting for central overhead cost centres and subsidiaries.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain uptodate financial records.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets and liase with stakeholders.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Intercompany balances: Prepare monthly reconciliations with other Culina Group entities.

Qualifications :

To apply for the role of Management Accountant you will possess the following skills experiences and qualifications:

  • Minimum partqualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • SAP knowledge would be desirable though not essential as training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Selfmotivated and confident.
  • Full UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
