Design develop and maintain enterpriselevel cards and payments systems ensuring high availability scalability and security.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to optimize functionality and user experience.
Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and best practices in payment processing and data security.
Work closely with senior management to define the IT roadmap for cards and payments aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Identify emerging trends and technologies in the payments industry recommending innovative solutions to enhance the bank s competitive edge.
Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including business units risk management and compliance teams to align IT priorities and deliverables.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure costeffectiveness and operational excellence.
Ensure all cards and payments systems comply with PCIDSS GDPR and local banking regulations.
Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive customer data and prevent fraud.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
A Master s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 710 years of experience in IT with at least 35 years in a leadership role within the banking or financial services industry.
Proven experience in managing enterpriselevel cards and payments systems (e.g. card management systems payment gateways digital wallets.
Strong knowledge of payment processing standards protocols and technologies (e.g. ISO 8583 EMV NFC tokenization.
Experience with cloudbased payment solutions and API integrations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in programming languages such as .Net Java Python or C#.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. Oracle SQL Server.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g. Jenkins Docker Kubernetes.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
