Position Summary
The Engineer Quality Control focus specializes in designing and evaluating protocols. Inspects and tests inprocess raw materials and finished products to ensure that they are in compliance with internal and external safety quality and regulatory standard requirements for distribution.
Organizational Relationship
This position reports directly to the Manager Quality
Accountabilities
- Evaluates and implements protocols and methods to inspect and test inprocess raw materials and finished products and ensure that they are in compliance with internal and external safety quality and regulatory standards requirements for distribution.
- Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products inprocess materials and bulk raw materials and recommends corrective actions when necessary.
- Develops processes and tests to determine that appropriate quality control analysis is being performed.
- Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures.
- Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing documenting and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
- Assure compliance to inhouse and/or external specifications and standards (e.g. GLP GMP ISO Six Sigma).
- Debugging software products through the use of systematic tests to develop apply and maintain quality standards for company products.
- Responsible for both design and implementation of quality assurance programs standards and protocols.
- Perform or confirm production and quality control audits.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing basic computer skills (MS Office) Quality Systems and lean manufacturing
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing preferable with wood working machinery.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- KCQC any 6 Sigma or any additional quality courses preferred.
