Job Description

A lively and vibrantprimary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team in April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school with a strong focus on developing both academic excellence and student wellbeing.

Salary: MPS
Start Date: April 2025
Contract Type: Fulltime Permanent

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to Year 2 students that support their development in literacy and numeracy.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team of teachers to continually improve learning outcomes.
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Building strong relationships with parents to ensure students receive the best support.

  • QTS and experience teaching Key Stage 1.
  • A creative and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Passion for helping students develop academically and emotionally.
