About the Role:
- Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including interactive whiteboards technology and manipulatives to bring Mathematics to life for students.
- Assess student progress set targets and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and resources ensuring that our Maths curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
- Foster a love of Maths in students encouraging them to explore the applications of mathematics in the world around them.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Maths education.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Has strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Is supportive of the schools Christian ethos and values.
