The Role
The English Teacher will:
- Deliver highquality lessons across Key Stages 35 encouraging a love for literature language and creative expression.
- Use creative teaching methods such as storytelling drama and interactive projects to make lessons come alive.
- Inspire students to communicate confidently both in writing and through verbal expression in realworld contexts.
- Contribute to the wider school community by leading extracurricular activities such as creative writing clubs drama productions and literary events.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a qualified English Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:
- Has a genuine passion for literature language and innovative teaching.
- Is skilled in using creative and interactive approaches to engage and inspire students.
- Can adapt lessons to support and challenge learners of all abilities ensuring each student can achieve their potential.
- Works well as part of a team and is eager to contribute to the schools creative and cultural initiatives.
