TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working with our client one of the fastestgrowing accountancy firms in the UK to recruit an Audit & Accounts SemiSenior. The firm provides a broad range of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses with over 30 years of experience.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Audit & Accounts professional to join a growing department. You ll work within a supportive team environment with the opportunity to develop your career in both audit and accounts.
As an Audit & Accounts SemiSenior you will assist with audits for both corporate and notforprofit clients support senior team members in dealing with client queries and assist with the preparation of financial statements. Youll work closely with senior colleagues gaining valuable experience that will allow you to develop your career in audit accounts and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with audits for both corporate and notforprofit clients
- Help prepare financial statements for audit and nonaudit clients
- Support senior team members in managing client relationships and responding to queries
- Gain exposure to nonaudit services including consultancy and advisory work
Requirements
About You:
We re looking for candidates who are eager to learn and have a strong foundation in accountancy practice. You should have practical experience in audit within an accountancy practice and be familiar with accounting and auditing principles. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and progress in their career.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Some audit experience within a UK accountancy practice 12 years)
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and basic auditing standards
- Basic knowledge of tax including corporation tax (VAT and payroll tax knowledge is a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically
- Proactive with a willingness to take on responsibility and develop new skills
