- Utilize Electronic Health Record system
- Assists providers by performing administrative and clinical duties as needed
- Interviews patients to obtain and record medical history vital statistics and test results.
- Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.
- Clean and stock treatment rooms following patient examinations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintain workplace compliant practices to promote a safe environment.
- Respond to patient and providers needs before during and after patient exam including wound care instructions
- Respond to clinical questions from patients including test results and pharmacy needs
- Secure medication preauthorization from insurance payer and coordinate with pharmacy as needed
- If needed answer incoming telephone calls greet and check in patients in a professional courteous and timely manner

Job Type:
- Full time: MondayFriday: 8am5pm
Experience:
- 1 year of work experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Preferred previous dermatology experience preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
Education:
- High School Diploma is required
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma or Associate degree preferred
