Job Description
As the SAP S4 Cross functional & master data Solution Architect you will be responsible for technical leadership in all aspects of cross functional master data management architecture and governance in the context of OFP program implementation & run covering the SAP S4 systems (S4HANA MDG etc) / solutions (onpremise and oncloud) and its integration to surrounding applications. This is a team effort and you are at your best working closely with a team of Business Analysts External Consultants Developers (Technofunctional design) Security & Data privacy team and Data specialists to ensure SAP S/4 design delivery and maintenance that sticks to standard without compromising the high degree of automation and specialization in our global value chain.
More specifically in this role you will be:
- Guardian of quality deliverables related to master data management framework within SAP S4 & MDG including mapping of data sources data movement and interfaces with the goal of ensuring data quality and optimized solution across the SAP landscape and domains.
- Work closely together with Product/Process Owners and Lead solution architects in evaluating and aligning any design changes from application maintenance perspective.
- Envision data pipelines and how data will flow through the enterprise
- Working as a frontline person for the respective business process owners and super users ensuring a seamless platform experience in the live environment across the complete value chain independent of the underlying application landscape this incl.:
- Develop data model and metadata policies and procedure for functional and technical design.
- Ensure data governance and best practices are followed and properly implemented. Support analysis of productive issues (Incident & problem management) and implement resolutions working alongside totality of DevSecOps team including both internal and external teams.
- Guide the project team in data load migration approach and data impact analysis
- Architect data transformation from legacy system into S4/HANA landscape and SAP MDG
- Blueprinting the process flows and data models from surrounding / legacy to SAP S/4 HANA and MDG
- Work alongside a cross functional scrum teams guiding the configuration in SAP S/4 Hana primarily in logistics and procurement domains & SAP MDG.
- Perform data gap analysis according to business requirements and provide recommendation of suitable system solutions
- Support Proof of Concepts (POC) for functional solution providing expertise with respect to data related architecture and management
- Demonstrating cross functional alignments i.e. ability to look at the endtoend process explaining how it fits together.
- Configure test and deploy MDM solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for MDM systems ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Proactively communicate status escalates issues and manages timelines and action items.
- Knowhow of Syniti (SAP ADMM) and migration activities to support data mapping and migration
- Risk & mitigation of the challenges surrounding a transformational transition architecture always ensuring running business.
In this role you will report to our SAP Platform Area Manager in IKEA Supply and work closely with the programme management for Order and Finance Program.

We are looking for a visionary pragmatic and adaptable person that isnt above rolling up the sleeves showcasing their technofunctional knowledge leading by example. You are curious and able to build relationships build on trust between the Supply Data & Technology community and its stakeholders.
We expect you to have at least 23 end to end SAP implementation projects under your belt where youve contributed handson as a solution architect business analyst or functional consultant must have handson configuration experience in SAP S/4 Hana and / or ECC primarily in modules such as SD MM LE TM etc; have worked in similar supply chain or retail industries working knowledge of SAP data dictionary data mapping and ETL strong data analytic skills and knowledge of data management methodologies. You are analytical and have a particular eye for details still being able to relate to the bigger context building a quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.
You are highly motivated and effective in communicating able to present even complex technology challenges in an understandable fashion to stakeholders getting commitment all around.

Additional Information :
