Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team on a 12week contract. In this role you will assist in cardiac catheterization procedures ensuring highquality patient care and precise diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will have direct and current cath lab experience with the ability to scrub and monitor procedures effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper positioning and safety measures
  • Scrub and monitor procedures maintaining sterile technique
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
  • Accurately document procedure details and patient responses
  • Participate in STEMI oncall rotations for emergency procedures
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
  • Certified RT CVT or RCIS (Required)
  • Current & direct cath lab experience (Required)
  • Experience in both scrubbing & monitoring (Required)
  • BLS & ACLS certifications (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy hemodynamics and cath lab protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
