Senior Data Analyst Asset Management
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced professional to join their Data Platform Team. This role involves data analysis data mapping data modeling governance and testing across various data sources and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asset Management or Capital Markets with expertise in investment instruments and the asset management business. This position requires collaboration with data analysts engineers and business stakeholders to develop consumable data products that support strategic decisionmaking.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $70 to $78 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $80 to $91 per hour.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 days per week inoffice.

Responsibilities:
Perform data mapping and modeling to ensure data quality and integrity across multiple platforms.
Define develop and implement components within the data certification process for new data products.
Ensure compliance with governance policies security privacy and data integrity standards.
Support Data Owners and Stewards in resolving technical datarelated issues.
Conduct data testing and validation to identify and resolve anomalies.
Analyze and interpret data using various tools to generate insights for business stakeholders.
Clearly articulate problem statements and communicate data insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Manage discussions negotiations and conflicts aligning communication strategies with diverse audiences.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in data science computer science statistics mathematics or a related field.
8 years of handson experience in data analysis data modeling data governance or data engineering.
5 years of experience in Asset Management and/or Capital Markets with broad domain knowledge of investment instruments.
Practical experience with SQL and Python in cloud environments.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira Confluence and Miro.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Proven ability to deliver effectively in a virtual multisite environment.
Strong communication consultation and facilitation skills to lead stakeholder discussions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated with a demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and selfgrowth.
