We have partnered with a panEuropean Real Estate investor to appoint an Investment Associate to their team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the origination of real estate special situations opportunities across Equity Hard Assets Distressed Debt and Development Finance.
- Assisting in sourcing and filtering equity investment opportunities across various geographies.
- Assisting in negotiations preparing investment proposals and supporting the closing of real estate special situations investments.
- Conducting financial modelling and analysis of transactions including supporting detailed due diligence across legal financial and operational aspects.
- Assessing risks associated with distressed or complex real estate assets.
Experience Required:
- Strong academic track record from a toptier institution with a graduate degree in finance real estate economics or a related field.
- Upwards of 24 years of experience in real estate investments private equity real estate lending investment banking or a related field.
- Solid financial modelling skills with the ability to analyse complex capital structures and waterfalls.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment including origination underwriting and asset management.
- Experience preparing investment memoranda and presenting to internal stakeholders.
