Job Description

Shift (Nightshift
Mandatory skill Material Master Code Creation Extension & Activation Service Now LSMW & Tcodes used for MM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Master Data Management:
- Manage the creation extension activation and discontinuation of material master records in SAP MM.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of material master data in accordance with internal data standards and SAP best practices.
- Incident and Task Management:
- Use ServiceNow to handle and resolve tasks and incidents raised by requesters regarding updates to material master data.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their material data needs and provide timely resolutions.
- Material Code & Hierarchy Management:
- Create maintain and update material codes ensuring they meet the company s data governance standards.
- Work on product hierarchy creation and updates to ensure the correct categorization of materials for reporting and analysis.
- Data Mass Updates:
- Manage and execute mass material code creation and updates in SAP MM to ensure efficient processing of large volumes of data.
- Utilize various tools and techniques including LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) to perform data migration tasks.
- SAP MM Tables & Tcodes:
- Utilize indepth knowledge of SAP MM tables (e.g. MARA MAKT MBEW) to support material master data management.
- Use SAP MM transaction codes (Tcodes) effectively for material master updates and reports.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse material master data and identify discrepancies trends or areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and insights related to material master data status issues and trends.
- Documentation & Process Improvement:
- Maintain accurate documentation related to material master processes procedures and guidelines.
- Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree Preferably in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- 13 years of experience working in SAP MM specifically in material master data management.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in material master data creation extension activation and discontinuation processes.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MM Tcodes and tables (e.g. MARA MAKT MBEW).
- Experience in handling ServiceNow tasks and incidents related to material data updates.
- Indepth understanding of product hierarchy creation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of the mass creation and update procedures within SAP MM.
- Good understanding of LSMW for data migration activities.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis including pivot tables VLOOKUP and macros.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules (SD PP etc. and systems.
Previous experience in process improvement or data quality management initiatives
