The Colors Person greets and interacts with our guest in a friendly courteous responsive and accurate manner; controls issues receives and monitors the racing silks jackets and caps worn by riders that represents the owner(s) of horse; provides administrative support to higher level management staff; and performs related tasks within area of assignment.
Delivers superior internal and external guest service the Pinnacle Way by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look sharp smile and greet the guest; Be friendly polite and use courteous language; Provide especially timely and knowledgeable service and then some; Always find solutions to guests problems; Use the guests name when appropriate; Thank the guest and invite him or her back.; and work harmoniously with fellow team members.
Assumes responsibility for the control of racing silks jackets and caps worn by riders that represents the owner(s) of horse
Holds silks inventories on a regular spotcheck basis as directed.
Issues silks as requested.
Inspects silks for wear or damage and recommend replacement; coordinates replacement as directed.
Attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and innovations in the field of customer service.
Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications :
Some experience to effectively perform the position duties with at least two 2 months on the job training or related experience
Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment.
Must successfully pass background check
Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
Must be twentyone 21 years of age
Must be willing to work a variety of shifts to include swing shifts and holidays if needed
Knowledge of:
Operations services and activities of a customer service operation; methods and techniques of racing silk care ; principles and practices of tracking and organization of materials; knowledge of thoroughbred racing; pertinent federal state and local laws codes and regulations.
Ability to:
Ability to inspect garments for wear or damage; work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise; communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; prepare clear and concise reports; interpret and explain policies and procedures; interpret and apply federal state and local policies laws and regulations.
