Job Description

Job Title: QA Automation Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of our automation testing frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing testing strategies overseeing the execution of tests and working with software developers to improve product quality. The QA Automation Architect should have a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) extensive experience with automation tools and the ability to create and maintain test environments. Ultimately the role of the QA Automation Architect is to ensure that our software products are of the highest quality free from defects and meet the requirements set by our users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and execute automation scripts using opensource tools.
  • Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases.
  • Analyze project requirements and select appropriate testing tools.
  • Work closely with QA teams and software developers to identify issues and ensure software quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the QA team.
  • Identify and implement strategies to reduce manual testing by automating test cases.
  • Oversee the implementation of automation testing processes methodologies and tools.
  • Set up maintain and monitor automated testing environments.
  • Report on the status of design development and execution of test scripts.
  • Identify and track bugs and document testing procedures.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements product design and potential problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  • 58 years of handson experience in Java application development.
  • 35 years of experience in an architect role.
  • Strong experience in unit testing developing multithreaded applications in Java and REST API.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud Continuous Integration (CI/CD) using Jenkins CloudBees BitBucket and Nexus.
  • Development experience in Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with both business clients and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Selenium Test Automation Framework.
  • Knowledge of source code management standards and tools.
  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
