Job Description
What youll do
- Lead and grow a highperforming engineering team through effective coaching and constructive feedback
- Partner with product designer and product manager in a triad model to lead the execution of Canvaworlds 3year vision
- Create and own the teams roadmap through active engagement with stakeholders across the business
- Drive effective stakeholder management to ensure were working on the highestimpact initiatives
- Drive the delivery of internal products from ideation to completion within startup timeframes
- Provide technical leadership and guidance through software design reviews and code reviews
- Own the technology roadmap for the teams software and infrastructure stack
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that prioritises open communication and emphasises growth and development.
Qualifications :
Wed love it if you
- Have 35 years of experience leading highperforming software engineering teams in a fastpaced userfocused environment
- Are wellversed in web app architecture and technologies including Python TypeScript React HTML CSS and SQL on AWS infrastructure
- Have strong knowledge of DevOps practices including continuous delivery continuous Integration and Infrastructure as code
- Demonstrate disciplined coding practices and a creative approach to problemsolving
- Excel at both written and verbal communication able to effectively collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Can lead by example promoting Canvas values and noblame mentality where everyone can share their best ideas and be their best selves
